Biomedical Competitions
NCIIA organizes two annual biomedical engineering competitions for university students. The objectives of these competitions are to identify and recognize innovative, commercially promising medical devices and technologies developed by entrepreneurial student teams.
- BMEidea competition: Open to all student teams. Click here to learn about our 2010 winners!
- BMEStart competition: Open to undergraduate student teams. Next application deadline will be in May 2011.
The ASME Innovation Showcase (IShow)
The ASME Innovation Showcase (IShow) is a national competition featuring the most innovative technologies in the engineering field at the baccalaureate level. IShow provides the full experience of technology product commercialization, bridging the gap between engineering school practicum and business school theory.
Imagine Cup
NCIIA and Microsoft are working together to support emerging technology innovators participating in Microsoft’s annual Imagine Cup Competition. Learn more about Imagine Cup.
