Debra Malewicki

Debra Malewicki is director of business outreach
services at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, which oversees the Wisconsin
Innovation Service Center and the Small Business Development Center and acts
as a gateway for business to UWW resources. She has directly assisted innovative
manufacturers and aspiring entrepreneurs with making more profitable product
and market development decisions for over nineteen years. WISC research services
have provided insight on over 6,000 products and services from a wide variety
of industries through projects covering new product feasibility, competitive
intelligence, licensing/strategic partnering, distributor assessments, and customer
satisfaction. She has consistently received high reviews as a keynoter, workshop
presenter, or panelist at national and state conferences on innovation, new
product development, and market research. She was a contributing author and
editor of Marketing Ingenuity and Invention: An Innovation Guidebook
and has authored several articles for both academic and mainstream business
publications. She holds a PhD in marketing and entrepreneurship from the University
of Illinois at Chicago and an MBA from UW-Whitewater.
