Paul Stiebitz

Paul Stiebitz is director of the Multidisciplinary
Engineering Design Program within the Kate Gleason College of Engineering at
the Rochester Institute of Technology, and associate professor in the Department
of Industrial and Systems Engineering. He teaches Design Project Management,
a two-course sequence in the engineering of systems for executive engineers
in the Master's in Product Development Program, the Product and Process Design
course in the Manufacturing Management and Leadership Program, and Systems Engineering
in the Microsystems PhD program.
Prior to joining RIT in 1984, Professor Stiebitz designed and built optical systems at Xerox for thirteen years and conducted systems engineering and reliability engineering studies at Kodak for two years. He has been a consultant to numerous corporations, including BASF, Bausch & Lomb, Cadbury Beverages, Cooper Tools, Eastman Kodak, Exxon, Mobil Chemical, and Xerox.
