M. Thomas Arnold

Professor M. Thomas Arnold earned his JD from the University of Michigan and his AB and MA from Ohio University. He joined the faculty of the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1980 and has served as Acting Dean. Professor Arnold currently serves as associate dean for academic affairs at the College of Law, as well as director of its Entrepreneurial Law Certificate Program. He is on the Operations Board of the University of Tulsa Innovation Institute.

Professor Arnold is the co-author of a treatise on accountants' liability and also writes in the area of business organizations. His teaching interests include agency and partnership, contracts, corporate law, entrepreneurial law, franchise law, and unfair trade practices (including trademark law). Before entering legal education, Professor Arnold was an attorney for Michigan Bell Telephone Company in Detroit, Michigan. He is a Master of the Bar in the Johnson-Sontag Chapter of the American Inns of Court.
