Robert Clay

Robert Clay is presently the information technology
manager for the Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Department at the University
of California, San Diego. Mr. Clay has held numerous management and staff information
technology positions in the aerospace industry at General Dynamics and Computer
Sciences Corporation, and in higher education at UCSD, San Diego State University
(SDSU) and National University. In 1982, Mr. Clay received his bachelor of science
in electrical engineering from SDSU, and subsequently earned his master's of
science in software engineering from National University in 1989. Robert Clay
has over twenty years of experience in many areas of information technology,
including management and technical staff positions in software research and
development, capacity planning, computer scheduling, and computing support for
applications, systems products, telecommunications, wireless networks, and distributed
data processing.
