Joanie B. Connell

Joanie B. Connell received her PhD in psychology
from the University of California, Berkeley. She has worked as an organizational
psychologist in the form of consultant, professor, and in-house human factors
engineer. She worked as a human resource consultant for Personnel Decisions
International, where she consulted with a number of Fortune 100 companies in
information technology and financial industries. She teaches/has taught organizational
psychology courses at Alliant International University, University of California,
San Diego, and National University, and consults in a variety of areas, including
virtual teams, flexible work arrangements, team building, and leadership development.
In addition, she received her bachelors degree in electrical engineering from
Harvard University, and has had several years' experience working as an electrical
engineer and consultant for a variety of high tech companies, including Tandem
Computers, Cypress Semiconductor, and Cisco Systems.
