Rajiv Doshi

Rajiv Doshi received a BS from the Stanford University School of Engineering, an MSE from the Stanford University School of Engineering, and an MD from the Stanford University School of Medicine. Prior to joining De Novo in August 2003, Rajiv was a Lecturer in the Stanford University School of Medicine. At Stanford, he taught medical device design courses in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Medicine. Rajiv previously spent time in the Compass business development group at Guidant Corporation. He was also a consultant for a variety of early-stage medical device companies, helping in combined business, engineering, and clinical roles. An active inventor, Rajiv has licensed the rights to two of his medical device inventions to date and has numerous patents issued and pending in the fields of laparoscopic surgery, pulmonology, urology, and gastroenterology. He maintains a part time senior lecturer appointment in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University. He also serves on the Medical Advisory Board for Lunar Design.
