Kyuil Kim

Dr. Kyuil Kim is professor and chair of the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the Marquette University. He received his BS and MS from the Seoul National University and his PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1986. Before joining Marquette, he served as chair and professor at the Northern Illinois University (NIU) for two years, and worked at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) as a faculty member for thirteen years. Professor Kim teaches courses in computer aided design and manufacturing, industrial automation, and statistical system modeling. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the North American Manufacturing Research Institution, and the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association, and has been a registered Professional Engineer since 1989.
