The theme of last year's conference was 'Building In, Building Out: Fostering a Culture of Innovation on Campus and Beyond'. It was a three-day conference featuring paper, panel, and workshop sessions on a variety of topics related to invention, innovation and entrepreneurship.

The NCIIA 11th Annual Meeting also featured keynote talks from Caroline Baillie,
Dan Kammen, Lesa Mitchell and Kesh Narayanan, the latest in NCIIA and other resources,
Olympus Innovation Awards, March Madness for the Mind at the Museum of Science
and Industry, and many opportunities to network with a lively group of like-minded
peers!
