Edwards, Evan T.
Evan T. Edwards is a graduate of the University of Virginia and received a B. in mechanical engineering (2002) and a MS in systems engineering (2004). Evan currently serves as vice-president of product development for Intelliject, LLC., a biomedical company devoted to developing innovative drug delivery technologies. He is the co-founder of Intelliject and their compact drug delivery system, specializing in all areas of the invention and design process. He is currently one of the primary inventors on more than forty of Intelliject's patents filed both domestically and abroad. Mr. Edwards completed his Masters of Science at the University of Virginia where he focused on human factors engineering. His Masters Thesis was entitled "The Development of Design Controls and Quality System Requirements for a Biomedical Start-Up Company Utilizing Human Factors Engineering." He was also the head teaching assistant for the Washington Internship Program and co-taught the Invention and Design class at the University of Virginia for two years. Intelliject, LLC was formed from an Advanced E-Team award from the NCIIA in 2000.
