Jorge Vanegas has served as director of the Center for Housing and Urban Development, and as professor in the Department of Architecture in the College of Architecture at Texas A&M University since January 2006. Previously, Vanegas held faculty appointments in the Construction Engineering and Management (CEM) Program of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology (1993-2005), and in the School of Civil Engineering and the Division of CEM at Purdue University (1988-1993). Dr. Vanegas is an architect from the Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, Colombia (1979), and holds an MS degree (1985) and a PhD degree (1988) from the CEM Program of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University. His primary areas of expertise include built environment sustainability, advanced strategies, tools, and methods for integrated capital asset delivery and management, and creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship for the AEC industry.

Carlos Vignolo is an associate professor, member of the Academic Council, and academic director of the Social Capital Technologies Program of the Industrial Engineering Department of the University of Chile. His academic career has been marked, for almost thirty-five years, by his interest in innovation—particularly radical innovation—and paradigm shifts. He has more than thirty publications to his name, including the 2005 National Prize winner, Management Made in Chile, awarded by Trend Management Magazine in a special edition. At present Carlos is involved in the creation of the Engineering of Education Program at the Engineering Faculty of the University of Chile and is leading the Social Capital Strengthening Program of the Chilean Salmon Industry.

Jesús Arturo Frayre Villa is a professor of civil engineering at the Instituto Tecnológico de Nogales. He holds degrees in civil engineering, education, and business development and is presently working on his doctorate in business administration. Prior to joining the faculty at the Instituto Tecnológico de Nogales, he worked as a draftsman, builder, and supervisor in the private sector and as a civil engineer for the Nogales municipal government. At ITN, in addition to teaching engineering courses, Arturo organizes and directs teams of students as they develop and implement social service projects in Nogales. In recent years, his students have investigated the use of ferrocement in the construction of specialized modular homes adapted for Nogales (Habitec) and have developed and tested fibrous concrete (Mortero Neruva), and they are currently working on a project to create insulated panels from recycled paper (Papel Aislante).

Meghna Virick is an assistant professor at San Jose State University. She received her doctorate in business administration at the University of Texas at Arlington. She holds a diploma in industrial relations from XLRI, India, and an MBA from Texas Christian University. Her research has been published in journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Human Resource Management Review, Journal of Managerial Psychology, and Career Development International. Her current research focuses on diversity, work and family conflict, underemployment, and the effects of job loss.
