In spring semester 2003, San Josł State University (SJSU) launched its first business plan competition. To prepare for the competition, SJSU implemented E-Teams composed of students from various colleges within the university, engaged in developing new products and services leading to viable business plans. The University of San Francisco has been presenting a world-class business competition for years. This session presents lessons learned both in the initiation of a new competition, and through the experiences of an established competition.
