| Students
in BME design courses have substantial resources at their fingertips
via the World Wide Web and other Internet mechanisms. They use
these resources as if they were books in a library or articles
in a respected journal. The validity and timeliness of such resources
must always come into question. However, students do find sites
that are worth using and pass them along to each other. We propose
creating a single, national portal of trusted sites, available
to all bioengineering students. This portal would provide links
categorized by field. Students would generate the site lists in
the process of their work in BME project courses. |
