| Faculty members and doctoral students in the School of Polymers and High Performance Materials at the University of Southern Mississippi and in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Mississippi are forming teams and developing joint projects to explore how polymer science and medicinal chemistry can synergistically extend the methods of making and evaluating new materials, new bioactive agents, and new applications of biomaterials. The two institutions, both participants in a program entitled Entrepreneurship at the Interface of Polymer Science and Medicinal Chemistry, are collaborating through research projects, broad education efforts in business and entrepreneurship, and interactions with industry, both domestically and globally. |
