| The University
of Cincinnati Colleges of Engineering; Medicine; Business; and
Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning have partnered in a program
focused on innovation in medicine. The program advances existing
and creates new intellectual property for commercialization by
partnering physician innovators with multi-disciplinary student
teams. The teams are comprised of highly motivated students from
industrial design, biomedical engineering, and business honors.
The development of the Medical Device Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Program described here is based on experience gained over the
past three years with student E-Teams supported by a program development
grant and an NCIIA Advanced E-Team grant. |
