describes Technological Innovation: Generating Economic Results
(TI:GER), a new graduate program at the Georgia Institute of Technology
and Emory University, which brings PhD students in science and
technology disciplines together with Master of Business (MBA)
and Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) students. Students participate
in a two-year engaged learning process that blends curriculum
in technical, legal, and business issues in technology transfer
and commercialization with multi-disciplinary innovation team
activities driven by the PhDs students' research interests. This
session reviews the impact of the program, particularly as related
to changes in individual student entrepreneurial aptitudes, and
perspectives of team behaviors and dynamics. |
