| This presentation introduces an technology education innovation called "coeducation," based on coexistence transformation from Humberto Maturana's Biology of Cognition. During the course of a year, students enter towns and establish cooperation and learning alliances with small businesses, beginning a process that creates a common history. In this process, the students learn more than they teach, expanding their consciences, teamwork skills, and understanding in the field of the most diverse dimensions of resolution. The small businesses not only add knowledge, they also increment their networks and their vision of opportunities. Coeducation was developed in the Industrial Engineering Department of the University of Chile. |
