Gleason College of Engineering (KGCOE) at the Rochester Institute
of Technology (RIT) has implemented a college-wide initiative
to incorporate multi-disciplinary design as a central theme for
all senior students in the capstone design sequence. KGCOE is
incorporating a multi-disciplinary design environment into the
capstone design experience for all engineering students at RIT
to produce engineers with the perspective and knowledge base to
develop, design, and produce products and processes within an
integrated end-to-end product and process development cycle. This
session describes the overall structure of the program, including
program assessment, with examples of representative student projects.
