| Most creativity-training is geared to paper and pencil activities, but many people--especially engineers and scientists--learn best through more active programming. In this session we will present a series of active-learning exercises that help participants expand their creative thinking skills and develop teamwork. Come prepared for kinetic learning and fun: wear comfortable shoes and clothing. You will laugh, crawl, toss, and cling while you learn how to lead activities you can immediately incorporate into your classes and programs to teach a range of innovation, invention, and teamwork skills. The wearing of a stupid-looking school mascot-themed hat by workshop participants is encouraged but not required. |
