In this presentation, an MBA/Ph.D. student participant in the multidisciplinary
Technological Innovation: Generating Economic Results
(TI:GER) program at Georgia Tech describes how he learned about
the difficulty of taking a research technology to market, and discusses
the challenges of identifying a market for a potential technology that
was in the early development stage. He highlights the benefits of multidisciplinary
education, lists some challenges that lie ahead, and outlines
improvements that will be useful to researchers and educators
in the entrepreneurship education field. |
