Peter Bryant is currently the manager of the New Ventures Unit at the University of Sydney in Sydney, Australia. Prior to taking up this position three years ago, he held roles as an investment manager in an early stage VC firm, an operational risk consultant with Deloitte, and managed systems analysis projects in the airline and banking industries. He has also worked as the product development manager for a small software start-up. At the University of Sydney, Bryant has managed a number of VC deals and been involved in two IPOs. He is completing his PhD on the topic of decision-making by entrepreneurs.
