Brian Campbell is a software designer/engineer for the Research and Development Corporation of Georgia Southwestern State
University (GSW). His other titles include website/network administrator for the Rosalynn Carter Institute, the National Quality
Caregiving Coalition, and the Computer and Information Science Department of GSW. He is also a team leader for a joint
project between GSW and NASA that focuses on increasing students’ interest in the S.T.E.M. subjects by integrating computer
games with educational resources. Campbell’s recent work at GSW includes developing informational and transactional kiosk
applications for companies such as Whole Foods Market and Motorola. These kiosk applications, that have passed prototype
phase, are currently in use at several locations across the nation. Campbell is currently a graduate student at GSW. His latest
research and thesis topic focuses on the development of online multi-player games via service-oriented architectures.
