Wayne Chung has been teaching industrial design for the past ten years at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Ohio
State University. He has been successful in integrating industry and other disciplines throughout the undergraduate and
graduate curriculum. Some of his industry sponsors and clients include Compaq, Procter & Gamble, Pyxis, Evenflo, Whirlpool,
Apple, Rubbermaid, Texas Instruments, and the OSU Medical School. In addition, his research involves the application of various
methods and technologies for improving design decisions. He received his degrees from Carnegie Mellon University—BFA
ID and a Masters of Industrial Design from the University of the Arts. He has worked as a design information researcher forthe Federal Highway Administration’s Advanced Driver Interface Design and Assessment Project; as an industrial designer for
Sundberg-Ferar, Walled Lake Michigan; and as art director for TeleGuide Inc., Washington, D.C.
