Claire P. Cornell is the executive administrator for entrepreneurial programs and the assistant director of the Family-Owned
Business Institute at the University of Tulsa. She also is an adjunct professor in the College of Business Administration’s
Department of Management and Marketing, where she teaches courses in general business, management, family business,
innovation, and entrepreneurship. She is the Sam Walton Entrepreneurial Fellow and Advisor for SIFE team at TU. She has previously
taught at the University of Rhode Island and worked for several years with the Board of Regents for Higher Education
in R.I. conducting research on quality issues in higher education. Cornell earned her M.A. from the University of Rhode Island.
