Lew Frasch, P.E. is an associate professor at Lawrence Technological University. Prior to joining the faculty in 1984, he was a nuclear-trained submarine officer in the United States Navy and a power plant design engineer. He received his BSME from the Ohio State University and his MSME from Iowa State University. He teaches in the areas of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and serves as one of the coordinators of the senior capstone design sequence. His publications are primarily related to engineering design education.
