Oliver Hensley is the former dean of graduate studies and research, and is now the coordinator of the specialist in education program at Pittsburg State University. He is the originator of the epistecybernetic model and founder of CUES (Consortium for Upgrading Educational Standards). He holds a BS degree in chemistry and MA/PhD degrees in education from Southern Illinois University. Hensley volunteers his time during the summer months to mentor and advise the PSU-REU/RET participants.
