Jane E.R. Potter is a partner in the Seattle, Washington office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, where she specializes in biotechnology patent matters. Potter has prior experience with various national law firms, as well as corporate patent counsel with Chiron Corporation. Before entering law school, she was a postdoctoral associate in immunobiology at Sloan-Kettering Institute, and a research scientist, The Jackson Laboratory. She earned her J.D. from the University of Maine; her Ph.D. and M.A. in biochemistry and her B.A. in biology, all from New York University.
