Courtney Price, PhD is the president and CEO of VentureQuest, a Denver, Colorado consulting, education, and training company
that helps organizations harvest innovation and create new ventures by capitalizing on market opportunities, leveraging
intellectual property, and commercializing inventions. The firm works with universities, associations, federal laboratories, and
companies worldwide to strengthen their competitiveness and extract value from innovation to create new revenue streams.
Previously she designed and launched the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Creativity in the School of Business at Metropolitan
State College of Denver, and was its director and a professor of management for ten years. She has written more than
twelve books on entrepreneurship, many of which are used by corporations, practicing entrepreneurs, federal laboratories, and
in university courses. She has won literary awards and wrote a nationally syndicated weekly column “Entrepreneurs Ask,” which
appeared in more than four hundred Scripps-Howard newspapers nationwide for over ten years.
