Anil K. Rajvanshi is the director of Nimbkar Agricultural Research Institute (NARI), a rural non-governmental organization in India. He is a mechanical engineer from I.I.T. Kanpur, and got his PhD from the University of Florida in 1979. He taught at UF before returning to India in 1981. Under Rajvanshi’s guidance, NARI has done commendable work in developing technologies for rural areas. Rajvanshi has 120 publications and five patents to his credit. He has won many national and international awards.
