Krisnani Setyowati graduated from Bogor Agricultural University, Indonesia (IPB) in 1985 and from the University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany (Dr.rer.nat degree) in process engineering, in 1996. Since 1999, she has trained and performed an internship on university intellectual property (IP) management and technology transfer at the national and international levels. Since 1985, she has been working as a lecturer and researcher in IPB, and since 2000 she has been head of the IP Management Office of IPB.
