K. Mark Weaver is the Rohrer Chair of Entrepreneurial Studies and executive director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
at Rowan University. He was a professor of entrepreneurship at the University of Alabama, and began his academic
career at Bradley University. He has been a visiting professor at University College Dublin, University of Twente, and Oslo Business
School. At all of these universities he helped establish entrepreneurship education, consulting, and research programs.
Weaver is an elected fellow in USASBE, the ICSB and the SBIDA organizations, having served in numerous officer roles in all
three organizations. He has published in journals such as the Journal of Business Venturing, Academy of Management Journal,
Journal of International Business Studies, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Small Business Management,
Journal of Marketing and others. He has more than a hundred publications, including proceedings, books, chapters, cases, and
monographs.
