This planning grant supports the creation of the Longhorn Grand Challenges Scholars Program (GCSP) at UT Austin. GCSP will focus students across campus on the entrepreneurial aspects of solving the National Academy of Engineering’s 21st Century Grand Challenges. Funding will also be used to develop a Grand Challenges-focused incubator and to create a scalable model of entrepreneurship for other university’s GCSPs.
