NCIIA is a 17-year-old, national nonprofit organization that promotes science and technology innovation and entrepreneurship in universities and colleges across the U.S. We provide funding and training to help impact-focused student inventors realize their dreams, and support faculty to facilitate the innovation process from a new idea to the creation of self-sustaining enterprises. Our work has led to the launch of 180 new ventures that benefit people in the U.S. and around the world.
Founded with support from the Lemelson Foundation, NCIIA also receives substantial funding from the National Science Foundation, the United States Agency for International Development, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and other funders. We are a growing organization with an annual budget of $10 million dollars.

Sr. Trainer – Global Venture Development - NCIIA’s work is expanding into emerging markets. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing a variety of entrepreneurship and innovation business development trainings for our Global Venture Development Initiative. Program Assistant (15-19 hrs/week) - This is a great position for someone who has excellent organization and communication skills, enjoys helping people get their work done efficiently, and wants to work Part-Time. This individual will assist our Programs staff with a variety of Project administration activities such as supporting social network platforms, organizing meetings, tracking expenses, and a variety of other tasks. Associate - Global Programs - Participates with all aspects of development and execution for our Global Venture Development Program initiatives; identifies, proposes and takes initiative to locate industry advisors, training and coaching colleagues to support teams; develops tools and processes to improve program operations and tracking of program impact. learn more
