Barbara Fails
Barbara Fails is an Associate Professor working in the Land Policy Institute to develop and direct outreach programs for communities to create entrepreneurial support systems. She leads several community-based programs, including the Energizing Entrepreneurs (e2) Institute. She chairs EnGen, the mid-Michigan entrepreneurship education consortium, advises the MSU Entrepreneurship Association, and teaches Entrepreneurship. She has over twenty-five years of teaching experience in small business and retail horticulture, including professional development noncredit programs for small business owners. She started a campus business, Sparty's Flowers, managed and staffed by students, and started her own special events company, Florabundance.
