Don Carpenter

Don Carpenter is Director of Assessment and an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at Lawrence Technological University. Dr. Carpenter has conducted funded pedagogical research and development projects, has published numerous educational papers, and conducts faculty development workshops on various topics. His areas of expertise include assessment of student learning, ethics, and the development of the entrepreneurial mindset. Dr. Carpenter was also the founding Director for LTU's Center for Teaching and Learning. He is an active member of the Educational Research and Methods (ERM) Division of the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE). In 2006, he was named a Kern Fellow for entrepreneurial education.
