Evan Thomas

Robyn Sandekian is Associate Director of the Engineering for Developing Communities Program at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She earned BS and MS degrees in Aerospace Engineering Sciences at CU-Boulder, then remained on campus to work in student service programs. She joined the EDC Program in spring 2004, just as the first EDC graduate track was approved. In addition to her management role in the EDC Program, Ms. Sandekian has twice taught the First Year Engineering Projects course around the theme of appropriate technology, and conducted research on social entrepreneurship and sustainable community development in Nepal in 2008.
