Elissa Grossman
Elissa Grossman is an Assistant Professor of Management at Loyola Marymount University, where she teaches courses in feasibility analysis, technology commercialization, and the management of new and growing ventures. Elissa has received recognition for both her research and her teaching activities, including the Acton Foundation's Entrepreneurship Master Teacher Award, Baruch College's Teaching Excellence Award, and the Academy of Management's NFIB Dissertation Award. Her research concerns the role of social networks in new venturing and the role of new technologies in collecting and analyzing data. Prior to getting her PhD, Elissa worked in brand and marketing management for start-up and established companies.
