Liliana Becerra

Liliana Becerra is a design consultant, curator, and educator currently based in Los Angeles. Before establishing her independent practice, Liliana worked for Nokia Design for seven years directing research projects, publications and workshops. Her last role was as the head of the global Design Insights team within the Insights & Innovation unit, which led to important design strategies that Nokia implemented into world-class products. Currently, she is the Principal and Creative Director of Studio Liliana Becerra, a company founded in 2008 that consults with global international firms in design and trend research with special emphasis on the articulation of insights into actionable, tangible and relevant design strategies. Liliana is also a faculty member of the Product Design Department at Art Center College of Design, where she teaches in the areas of design research, trend analysis and colors & materials design.
