Engineering - Liberal Arts Entrepreneurship Seminar

Union College, 2007 - $32,000

This grant supports a course in which interdisciplinary teams of students develop business/marketing plans for socially responsible senior projects in engineering and explore their potential for commercialization. Specifically, E-Teams will be organized around six senior projects. Each team will be composed of an engineer, economics major, humanities major, and arts major. The goals of the course are to provide students in the liberal arts with the opportunity to work in socially productive projects emanating from engineering and to expose engineers to the potential contributions from students in economics, humanities, and the arts.
